Lori Prince is a classically trained New York City based actor and producer.
Lori is known to New York audiences for creating the role of “Gabrielle” in Ken Urban’s play THE AWAKE at 59E59th, “Lyric” in Michael Puzzo’s play LYRIC IS WAITING at Irish Rep and “Rochelle” in Daniel Goldfarb’s play SARAH, SARAH at Manhattan Theater Club in which New York Magazine called Ms. Prince “a revelation…lifting our spirits even as she renders our hearts”.
Lori has worked at some of the Country’s top regional theaters including Denver Center Theater Company, Geva Theater Center, Playmakers Repertory, Alliance Theater Company, Triad Stage, Repertory Theater of St. Louis, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater, San Francisco Playhouse, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
On screen Lori can be seen on LAW & ORDER: SVU, LAW & ORDER and ARE WE THERE YET? along with indie films BEFORE THE BOMB, LAST CALL, JOHNNY MONTANA, 212 and COLD COMFORT. Most recently, she can be heard in the ensemble cast of the highly praised podcast LIF-E.AF/TER. Her other voice work includes various characters in the animated film EPIC, as well as additional dialogue recording for over 50 major feature films and TV shows. She is also an audiobook narrator for Audible, Harper Audio, Tantor Audio, BlunderWoman Productions, Vibrance Press, Insatiable Press, Bold Strokes Books and Deyan Audio.
Lori is a founding member and was Producing Director of kef theatrical productions in NYC for 12 years. With kef, Lori produced 10 original plays, 5 workshop productions and countless staged readings. She secured ART/NY funds from both the Nancy Quinn Fund and the Creative Space Grant as well as, multi-year NYSCA grants for both Professional Productions and K-12 In School Programs.
Ms. Prince received her BFA from Syracuse University where she received the Edward J Greer Award for Classical Acting.
